Item: SHI-URS-Q95-MARM
The Shirogorov Q95 Ursus is a mid-sized folding knife built for collectors and users who want premium materials paired with smooth, bearing-driven action. It strikes a balance between a daily carry size and a blade capable of real cutting tasks.
Blade
The 3.74" upswept blade is made from Elmax steel with a stonewash finish. Elmax is a powder metallurgy steel that delivers strong edge retention, good corrosion resistance, and solid toughness for its class, making it a dependable choice for hard use. The stonewash finish hides scratches and wear while keeping a rugged look.
Handle
Micarta scales sit over a titanium frame. Micarta is a resin-impregnated linen or canvas composite known for its durability and secure, slightly textured grip even when wet. At 4.68oz, the knife carries comfortably without feeling bulky in the pocket.
Carry
The Q95 runs on a linerlock, where a spring-tensioned liner shifts behind the blade tang to hold it open, and is disengaged by pushing the liner aside. It also uses Shirogorov's Multi-Row Bearing System for smooth, fast deployment. The pocket clip is set up for right-hand, tip-up carry.
