The Talos is a compact EDC folder designed by William W. Harsey Jr. in collaboration with Spartan Blades. The 3.12-inch straight-back blade is flat ground from CTS-XHP at 58-60 HRC, delivering exceptional edge retention and corrosion resistance for everyday cutting tasks. The tumbled finish provides a subdued appearance while protecting the blade. The Oil Infused Bronze Bushing System (OIBBS) uses sintered bronze bushings infused with oil to reduce friction, providing smooth deployment with tight tolerances.
Harsey engineered the Talos with slim ergonomics for comfortable pocket carry. Textured G-10 scales in black or green provide secure grip without adding bulk. The liner lock mechanism ensures reliable blade lockup. At 7 inches overall and just 0.146 pounds, the Talos disappears in the pocket while maintaining capable blade length for daily tasks. The deep-carry pocket clip keeps the knife secure and low-profile for tip-up carry.
Made in the USA.
In Greek mythology, Talos was a giant bronze automaton who protected the island of Crete—an unstoppable guardian that patrolled the shores three times daily. It's a fitting name for a dependable folder designed to be your everyday companion and protector.
