Blade
The 2.98" blade uses CTS BD1N stainless steel with a full flat grind. BD1N is a high-performance stainless steel known for excellent edge retention, corrosion resistance, and toughness. The full flat grind (FFG) provides exceptional slicing performance, making this knife well-suited for precision cutting tasks. The blade is supported by a back lock mechanism with a Boye Dent to prevent unintentional closure.
Handle
The handle is made from fiberglass-reinforced nylon (FRN), a durable, lightweight material that resists impact and moisture. The injection-molded construction includes bilateral longitudinal grooves and a pebbled texture for a secure grip. The linerless design keeps weight to a minimum.
Carry
The back lock mechanism is simple and reliable, holding the blade open with a sturdy steel bar that locks into place. The reversible deep-pocket wire clip allows right or left-hand tip-up carry, ensuring quick access when needed. A lanyard hole is also included for additional carry options.
