Like its smaller sibling, the Endura 4 represents three generations of CQI (Constant Quality Improvement) refinements. Manufactured in Seki City, Japan—the historic center of Japanese bladesmithing—each knife benefits from precision manufacturing and rigorous quality control.
Blade and Ergonomics
The Endura's 3.75" blade provides significantly more cutting edge than the Delica while maintaining the same efficient full-flat grind geometry. The leaf-shaped profile excels at slicing tasks: breaking down cardboard, cutting rope, food preparation, and general utility work. A textured thumb ramp offers control during detailed cuts, and the longer handle accommodates larger hands comfortably.
Spyderco's signature 13mm Round Hole enables fast, ambidextrous one-handed deployment—a critical advantage when wearing work gloves or operating with cold hands. The bi-directional texturing on the injection-molded FRN scales provides secure grip across conditions while keeping weight around 3.5 ounces. Back Lock
