Spyderco Janisong - Black G-10

The Janisong is a unique folding knife that modernizes the traditional Filipino balisong, turning it into a practical cutting tool. Designed by Michael Janich, it features a patented mechanism with an outer handle, an inner handle, and a full-flat-ground CPM S30V blade, all connected by a single pivot pin. To deploy the blade, simply rotate the inner handle 360 degrees, locking it securely in the open position. A sliding latch mechanism reinforces the lock when the blade is open and ensures the blade and handles stay secured when closed. Unlike a conventional balisong, the outer handle of the Janisong acts as the safe handle, making it safer during use. With practice, the Janisong can be opened quickly with various techniques. For easy carry, it comes with a deep-pocket, four-position clip for versatile attachment.
