Blade

The 3.47" blade uses CTS BD1N stainless steel with a stonewashed finish. BD1N is a premium American-made steel with excellent corrosion resistance and edge retention, making it ideal for demanding everyday tasks. The fully serrated SpyderEdge format excels at cutting fibrous materials like rope, webbing, and cardboard. The full-flat grind ensures efficient slicing.

Handle

Injection-molded fiberglass-reinforced nylon (FRN) scales are lighter than G-10 and feature Spyderco's Bi-Directional Texture pattern for a non-slip grip. At just 2.8oz, this is one of the lightest Para 2 variants, yet the handle maintains structural integrity. The Compression Lock mechanism is streamlined to reduce weight while maintaining strength.

Carry

The Compression Lock is a leaf-shaped spring that locks into the blade's tang. It's self-adjusting and releases with a simple push on the spine. The deep-pocket wire clip supports tip-up carry on either side.
