The Spyderco UK Penknife Salt is a legacy model with a fresh upgrade. Originally designed to comply with UK knife laws prohibiting one-hand-opening lock blades, the UK Penknife was the first knife in Spyderco's SLIPIT lineup, combining the pocket clip and Trademark Round Hole of the CLIPIT platform with a non-locking mechanism for legal-friendly everyday carry.

This version marks another first for the UK Penknife — it's the first non-locking knife in Spyderco's ultra-corrosion-resistant Salt Series. The full-flat-ground leaf-shaped blade is precision machined from CPM MagnaCut, upgrading from the previous LC200N steel. MagnaCut delivers a well-rounded mix of edge retention, toughness, and the corrosion resistance the Salt Series is known for, making this a serious upgrade for anyone working in or around water.

The high-visibility yellow FRN handle features marine-grade hardware and a reversible deep-carry wire clip for ambidextrous carry. Available in both PlainEdge and SpyderEdge formats.
