The Spyderco YoJumbo is a larger take on Michael Janich's Yojimbo 2, featuring an enlarged design for better ergonomics that suits a wider range of hand sizes. This model includes a deeply hollow-ground Wharncliffe blade made from CPM SPY27 steel-a cobalt-enriched stainless steel exclusive to Spyderco, offering excellent edge retention, toughness, and corrosion resistance. It opens with Spyderco's signature Round Hole for ambidextrous one-handed deployment.

Blade

The 3.98" blade is crafted from SPY27 steel, which has a hardness range of 59-61 HRC and provides an excellent balance of toughness, edge retention, and corrosion resistance. The Wharncliffe shape enhances precise cutting tasks.

Handle

G-10 handles feature a distinctive cobalt blue peel-ply texture that offers a secure grip. G-10 is known for its durability as it is a fiberglass laminate material, which resists moisture and prevents cracking. The skeletonized stainless steel liners contribute to the knife's lightweight design while supporting the Compression Lock mechanism.

Lock Type
