This show-stopping blade is comprised of 115 layers of finely honed steel that produce a strong "Odin's Eye" damast pattern.

This blade is created in the tradition of damascus steel, which represents craftsmanship dating back over one thousand years. Only a select number of metal smiths are skilled in creating damascus steel, which is crafted by folding and forge welding steels of different hardness into one homogenized material. With painstaking grinding, polishing and etching, the unique characteristic damascus pattern is revealed. (The Damascus Outrider is made from stainless high quality Damascus steel, 60 HRC.)

In addition to the large, locking damascus blade, the Damascus Outrider features 9 other essential Swiss Army knife functions - from can opener to scissors. To keep the silhouette of this exclusive knife streamlined, it has been designed without a saw or corkscrew, making it a unique model in the Victorinox line.

The handles of this collector's piece are crafted from a robust, beautiful, eco-friendly wood fiber composite by Epicurean. The front handle of each Damascus Outrider has a beautiful steel inlaid Victorinox cross and shield, and the year (2017) and a unique, sequential number laser engraved into the back handle mark the knife's individuality.

This Outrider comes packaged in a handsome display box, which also includes a certificate of authenticity.
