Tactile Turn's Accessories are the spare parts and upgrade options for the brand's pen and pencil lineup, machined in the USA from the same materials as the pens they fit. Designed by Will Hodges, the catalog covers replacement clips, Damascus and DLC bolts, T8 Torx screws, and friction-fit eraser refills for the Pencil. Every piece carries the brand's lifetime warranty and ships from the same shop that makes the pens.
Replacement Clips for Bolt Action, Slim, and Side Click Pens
The Bolt Action pen uses one clip system. The Slim Bolt Action, Side Click, Slim Side Click, Slim Switch, and Pencil all share a different milled titanium clip. The Bolt Action clip is offered in stainless steel or DLC-coated steel and installs by removing the end piece, swapping the clip, and threading the cap back on. The milled titanium clip used across the slim family ships in plain titanium, DLC titanium, or titanium Damascus with a blued T8 Torx screw.
One Screw Versus Two Screw Clip Compatibility
The slim family clip changed in October 2022 from a two-screw design to a single-screw design. The two systems are not cross compatible. One-screw clips will not fit two-screw pen bodies, and the reverse is also true. Pens manufactured before October 2022 require the two-screw clip, while everything produced after that point uses the one-screw version. Both versions remain in the accessory catalog so legacy owners can still source matching parts.
Damascus and DLC Bolt Upgrades
The bolt is the most visible moving part on a Tactile Turn pen, which makes it a natural place for a material upgrade. Titanium Damascus bolts are offered for both the Bolt Action and Slim Bolt Action, with each piece showing a unique twisted alloy pattern brought out by heat treatment after machining. DLC bolts give the Bolt Action a blackened aesthetic that pairs with DLC clips and screws for a fully blacked out pen. Damascus bolts run a premium over the standard titanium bolts due to the multi-step forging and pattern development process.
Replacement Screws and Pencil Erasers
T8 Torx screws for the milled titanium clip are sold in two-packs in either standard titanium or DLC-coated titanium. The Pencil eraser is a friction-fit component sold in a black three-pack for owners who want spares on hand. Stocking spare bolts, clips, and erasers extends the working life of the pen indefinitely, which is consistent with the brand's lifetime warranty model.
