The Thorson Vinland is a hand forged hatchet, crafted using simple tools. Immediately upon grasping the Vinland you feel as though they are imbued with a feeling from a time almost forgotten. Each hatchet will receive over 1800 fierce hammer blows from craftsman Dale Thorson before receiving his Mjolnir logo. At just over 1lb in weight with a 14inch handle the Vinland is an ideal size for a personal hatchet. Large enough to handle camp prep yet small enough to be easily carried without being a strain.
