The Atom from Three Rivers Manufacturing is a lightweight, high-performance EDC folder for collectors and users who want premium materials in a compact package. Its slim profile and low weight make it easy to carry daily without sacrificing blade performance.

Blade

The 3.5" blade is made from MagnaCut, a modern steel prized for its excellent edge retention, corrosion resistance, and toughness - a combination that's hard to find in older steel formulas. The tumbled finish gives it a low-key, matte look while adding a bit of resistance to fingerprints and minor scratches.

Handle

The handle uses Python Micarta, a linen or canvas fabric set in resin and compressed under heat and pressure. Micarta is valued for its durability and the way its texture improves with use. This handle is 3D contoured for a comfortable in-hand feel, and the complete knife weighs just 3 ounces.

Carry

The Atom uses a linerlock, where a spring-tensioned metal liner locks behind the blade to hold it open; pushing the liner aside releases the blade for closing. The pocket clip is set up for right-hand, tip-up carry only, keeping the knife low-profile and easy to draw.
