CPM-154 Linerlock with Titanium Handles

The TRM Neutron 2 is a compact, ultra-slicey folder built for collectors and users who want a lightweight EDC with premium fit and finish. This version features a custom hollow grind applied by Mike Irie, hand-optimizing each blade for laser-like slicing performance beyond the standard factory flat grind.

Blade

The 3" drop point blade is CPM-154 steel with a mirror polished finish at 0.090" thick. CPM-154 is a premium powder metallurgy steel valued for its fine grain structure, strong edge retention, and good corrosion resistance, making it a favorite among custom and semi-custom makers. Mike Irie's compound hollow grind thins the edge geometry for exceptional cutting performance while preserving strength behind the edge.

Handle

Handles are full titanium, precision-machined for a lightweight yet structurally rigid platform. Titanium resists corrosion, won't fatigue like some alloys, and keeps the overall weight down to just 3.05oz despite its solid, minimalist build.

Carry

The Neutron 2 runs a linerlock, where a spring-tensioned liner locks behind the blade tang to hold it open securely and is disengaged with a simple push to the side. The right-hand, tip-up pocket clip allows for a fast, discreet draw.
