The TOPS Silent Hero 4 Tanto is a compact fixed blade built for concealed carry. Designed by Anton du Plessis and scaled down from a wilderness blade proven in anti-poaching operations, this knife suits plainclothes officers, security professionals, and anyone who wants a reliable fixed blade that draws clean from deep concealment.

Blade

The 4.25" tanto blade is made from 1095 high-carbon steel finished in Sniper Gray Cerakote. 1095 is a straightforward carbon steel known for toughness and ease of sharpening, and the Cerakote finish adds a layer of corrosion resistance since 1095 is prone to rust if left unprotected. The tanto geometry has a reinforced tip that resists breakage and pushes through layered material better than a traditional drop point.

Handle

The handle is made from Micarta, a resin-impregnated linen or canvas material valued for its grip texture and stability in wet or humid conditions. At 6.1oz total, the knife carries light for its size, and the 4.5" handle length gives a full grip despite the compact overall footprint.

Carry

The Silent Hero 4 ships with a black Kydex sheath designed for a snag-free draw from concealment. Kydex is a rigid thermoplastic that holds its shape and offers consistent retention without breaking in. There is no lock mechanism to worry about since this is a fixed blade - the tang and handle are one solid piece, ready to work the instant it clears the sheath.
