Three Rivers Manufacturing named the Bulldog after Roxy and Riley, the founders' two French bulldogs, and the knife lives up to the breed: compact, stout, and considerably tougher than its footprint suggests. The TRM Bulldog is the stoutest folder TRM has ever built, running the company's thickest blade stock at .120 inches under a 2.95 inch full flat grind with a near hollow ground appearance, all in a package that still carries like an everyday knife. Fans agreed, voting the Bulldog Rev B first place in the community driven 2025 TiCOON Choice Awards as TRM Knife of the Year. Like every TRM knife, it is 100 percent manufactured and assembled in the USA with a limited lifetime warranty.
TRM Bulldog Rev B Upgrades and the River-LOK
The Rev B revision answered the community directly: a wider blade opening for reliable flicking, new titanium lock bar caps, and caged ceramic ball bearings that give the action a glassy smoothness the original could not match. At the heart of the knife is the River-LOK, TRM's take on the axis style crossbar lock, delivering ambidextrous operation and hard use strength over 17-4 stainless steel liners. CPM MagnaCut and CPM 20CV Blade Options
The standard Bulldog runs CPM MagnaCut, a fitting match for a hard use folder where toughness and corrosion resistance matter as much as edge retention. The Titanium Bulldog Rev B is offered in CPM MagnaCut and CPM 20CV, both finished with TRM's deburring and two stage ceramic tumble and polish. Flat G10, Micarta, Carbon Fiber, and 3D Contoured Titanium Handles
Standard models come in flat, 3D smooth, and textured scales across carbon fiber, micarta, G10, and titanium at 3.5 ounces in flat G10, while the Titanium Rev B moves to 3D contoured titanium handles with a carbon fiber backspacer at 4.3 ounces. Every version carries on a 6AL/4V Grade 5 titanium deep pocket clip in tip up configuration.
