Three Rivers Manufacturing makes light knives as a rule, but the TRM Nerd is the one that disappears entirely: a 2.2 inch MagnaCut blade in a linerlock that weighs roughly 1.65 ounces and closes to just 3.3 inches. TRM Holier Nerd Thumb Hole Design
The Holier Nerd earns its name honestly. Where the original Nerd wore a machined oval on the blade, TRM listened to feedback from its owner community and opened that oval into a full thumb hole cutout with chamfered edges, making deployment easier and considerably more satisfying without adding hardware or bulk. The wider hole transforms the flicking action on a knife this small, and the clean lines stay intact because the change removed material rather than adding it. It is the kind of revision that comes from a small Massachusetts shop that actually reads what its customers write.

Standard Holier Nerds come in carbon fiber, G10, and micarta, while the Titanium Holier Nerd adds 3D contoured titanium scales over pocketed titanium liners that support a secure four finger grip despite the compact frame.
