Blade

The 3.5" drop point blade is made from Vanax steel, a powder metallurgy stainless steel known for exceptional corrosion resistance and strong edge retention, making it a good choice for wet or humid environments. This example features a black DLC coating with a super mirror polish, combining a hard, low-friction surface treatment with a high-shine finish.

Handle

The handle is machined from titanium in an integral design, meaning the frame lock and handle scale are one continuous piece rather than separate parts. Titanium is lightweight, corrosion-resistant, and strong, helping keep the knife's weight down to 5.15oz despite its full-size 8" overall length.

Carry

This knife uses a frame lock, where a cutout section of the titanium handle flexes to secure the blade open, then springs back to release it during closing. The pocket clip is set up for right-hand, tip-up carry only, and an additional Timascus pocket clip is included.
