The Suisei is a collaboration between WE Knife Company and designer Dew Hara, pairing high-end materials with precise fit and finish. This is a knife for collectors and EDC enthusiasts who want standout aesthetics alongside premium performance steel.

Blade

The 3.28" reverse tanto blade is made from Bohler M390, a premium powder steel known for excellent edge retention, corrosion resistance, and fine edge stability at high hardness. This example features a Timascus inlay with a polished bead blasted and flamed finish, giving the blade a distinctive mix of pattern and contrast along the spine. The reverse tanto grind offers a strong, angled tip suited for piercing cuts while keeping a smooth belly for everyday slicing.

Handle

Handles are 6AL4V titanium with a matching Timascus inlay, finished with the same polished bead blasted and flamed treatment as the blade. Titanium is lightweight, corrosion-resistant, and durable, and the inlay adds a unique visual element unlike standard anodized or stonewashed finishes. Total weight comes in at 3.88oz, keeping the knife comfortable for daily carry despite its upscale materials.

Carry

The Suisei uses a nested liner lock, where the stainless steel liner sits recessed into the titanium handle scale, securing the blade open while keeping the overall profile slim. The titanium pocket clip is set for tip-up, right-hand carry only. A caged ceramic ball bearing pivot gives smooth, fast deployment for a knife this well finished.
