Blade

The 3.24" Wharncliffe blade is made from CPM MagnaCut with a black stonewashed finish. MagnaCut is a modern powder steel that balances excellent edge retention with strong corrosion resistance and toughness, making it a favorite among high-end knife makers. The flat grind and straight Wharncliffe edge give the blade a precise, controllable cutting line with a strong tip.

Handle

Handles are 6AL4V titanium finished in black, a lightweight and corrosion-resistant material that adds strength without bulk. A matching titanium backspacer rounds out the handle construction. At just 2.54oz, the Tiercel carries almost unnoticed in the pocket.

Carry

The frame lock uses a section of the titanium handle itself as the locking bar, pressing against the blade tang to hold it open securely. It rides on a caged ceramic ball bearing pivot for smooth, easy one-hand opening. The titanium pocket clip is set for tip-up, right-hand carry only.
