Blade

The 3.24" wharncliffe blade is made from MagnaCut steel with a satin finish. MagnaCut is a modern powder steel engineered for an excellent balance of edge retention, toughness, and corrosion resistance, making it reliable across a wide range of cutting tasks. The wharncliffe profile features a straight edge and a lowered tip, ideal for controlled, precise cuts.

Handle

The handle is built from flamed titanium, a lightweight and corrosion-resistant metal that gains its coloring from a heat-treating process rather than dye or coating. The titanium back spacer matches the handle finish, keeping the build consistent front to back.

Carry

The Tiercel uses a frame lock, where a cutout section of the titanium handle itself flexes to secure the blade open, eliminating the need for a separate locking bar. The titanium pocket clip is positioned for tip-up, right-hand carry only.
