Blade

The 3.24" wharncliffe blade is made from MagnaCut steel with a stonewashed finish. MagnaCut is a modern powder steel engineered specifically for knife use, offering excellent edge retention, strong corrosion resistance, and enough toughness to stand up to daily tasks without chipping. The wharncliffe shape has a straight edge and a sharply angled spine, making it well-suited for precise, controlled cuts. The stonewash finish hides scratches and fingerprints during regular use.

Handle

Handles are 6AL4V titanium in a gray finish, running 0.46" thick. Titanium is lightweight, naturally corrosion-resistant, and strong relative to its weight, which keeps the overall knife at just 2.54oz despite its full-size 7.42" overall length. The backspacer and clip are also titanium, matching the construction throughout.

Carry

The Tiercel uses a frame lock, where a section of the titanium handle itself flexes inward to lock behind the blade tang. It's a simple, strong mechanism that's easy to disengage with one hand and runs on a caged ceramic ball bearing pivot for smooth opening. The titanium pocket clip is set up for tip-up, right-hand carry only.
