RWL34 Fixed Blade with Carbon Fiber Handles

The Shobu Zukuri Tanto C04 is the largest blade in Williams Blade Design's Shobu Zukuri series, built with TRC Knives for collectors and hard-use carriers who want refinement without sacrificing performance. It's a full-sized fixed blade sized for real utility while remaining easy to carry.

Blade

The 5.75" blade is forged from RWL34, a Swedish powder steel produced by Damasteel known for its purity and balance of corrosion resistance, edge retention, and toughness, while still being easy to sharpen. Blade thickness runs .14", finished in DLC coating for added surface hardness and a low-glare black finish. The Shobu Zukuri grind gives the blade excellent lateral strength alongside strong cutting performance.

Handle

Handle scales are Jungle Wear carbon fiber from FatCarbon Materials, a woven composite prized for its light weight and rigidity. At just 3.5oz overall, the knife carries far lighter than its 10" overall length suggests.

Carry

The C04 ships with a Kydex sheath, a rigid thermoplastic that holds the blade securely with a positive retention click and resists moisture and wear. The sheath supports multiple carry configurations for everyday use or field work.
