The Work Tuff Gear MADDOG is a recurved Filipino Bowie, designed by Vict Lin in 2023. Drawing inspiration from traditional Filipino fighting bowies, it emphasizes speed, power, and decisive cuts. The deep recurve geometry allows for controlled draw cuts and chopping efficiency.

The blade measures 12.6" with a Tiger Stripe finish on Böhler K329 steel at 0.216" thick. This steel provides excellent toughness and edge stability, making it suitable for impact resistance and maintaining sharpness. The recurved Bowie design enhances leverage and reach, ensuring decisive performance.

Handle

The handle is crafted from black textured G-10 with blue liners, offering a secure grip and durability. At 6.5", the handle length complements the blade's aggressive design, while its texture ensures firm handling even under strenuous use.
