The 12.5" parang-style blade is made from K329 steel with a hand rub APO finish, measuring .198" thick. The parang profile carries weight forward for efficient chopping, similar to a machete but with a thicker spine for added strength. Full-tang construction runs the steel through the entire handle length for maximum durability under hard use.

Handle

The handle is G-10, a fiberglass laminate that resists moisture, holds up to rough handling, and provides a stable grip even when wet. At 30.7oz, the Borneo has substantial heft that adds momentum to chopping strokes while remaining balanced in hand.

Carry

The Borneo ships with a black Kydex sheath, offering a durable and low-maintenance option for carrying a blade of this size. Kydex resists moisture and wear better than leather, making it a solid choice for field and expedition use.
