The WTG Borneo is a modern take on the traditional parang, a blade pattern proven for generations in Southeast Asian jungle environments. Work Tuff Gear built this one for heavy outdoor use, sized for clearing brush, processing wood, and camp chores where reach and chopping power matter.

Blade

The 12.5" parang blade is made from K329 steel at .198" thick, finished with a rugged copper wash. The parang profile carries forward weight toward the tip, giving it real chopping authority while still allowing controlled cuts closer to the handle. The copper wash finish adds a layer of corrosion resistance and gives the blade a distinct worn appearance.

Handle

The handle is black G-10, a fiberglass laminate that stays grippy in wet or sweaty conditions and resists cracking under hard use. Full-tang construction runs the steel the entire length of the 6.6" handle for maximum strength. At 30.7oz, this is a substantial knife built to deliver momentum on chopping tasks.

Carry

The Borneo ships with a black Kydex sheath, which offers a rigid, low-maintenance fit and retains the blade securely without breaking down from moisture or repeated use. The sheath is set up for belt carry, keeping the knife accessible on the trail or around camp.
