The Lanzeta C draws its design from the traditional Filipino bowie, built as a large field knife for chopping, carving, and general camp work. Work Tuff Gear scales it up to 13.8" overall for users who want serious cutting power in a fixed blade.
Blade
The 8.5" blade is SK85 carbon steel with a copper washed finish and a bowie profile. SK85 is a high-carbon steel that takes a keen edge and holds it well, with the toughness to handle chopping tasks. The sabre grind and convex edge combine for a durable, versatile cutting geometry, with the forward section built for chopping power and the rear tuned for finer control work. At 0.23" thick, the blade has the mass to move through wood and heavier material.
Handle
The handle uses G-10, a fiberglass laminate that resists moisture and holds up well under repeated field use. The scales are 3D-machined for a contoured, hot-spot-free grip and are fully removable for maintenance. A finger choil adds control during detail work, and at 22.7oz the knife carries substantial heft suited to heavy-duty tasks.
Carry
The Lanzeta C ships with an OD Green Kydex sheath, offering a rigid, low-maintenance carry option with reliable retention. As a fixed blade, there is no lock mechanism - the tang and blade are a single continuous piece of steel for maximum strength.
