The Work Tuff Gear V-44B is a large bowie-style fixed blade built for users who want serious size and presence in the field. With over 15 inches of overall length, this is a camp and outdoor knife suited to heavy chopping and demanding tasks.

Blade

The 9.15" blade is forged from SK85 carbon steel with a dark washed finish at .189" thick. SK85 is a high-carbon steel that takes a sharp edge and holds up well under hard use, with the dark wash helping to reduce glare and add a layer of corrosion resistance. The bowie profile delivers a strong, pointed tip with a long clip for piercing and controlled cuts.

Handle

Black textured G-10 scales cover the handle, which measures 6.2". G-10 is a fiberglass laminate prized for its durability, grip in wet conditions, and resistance to moisture absorption. At 23.6oz, this knife has substantial heft suited to its large blade.

Carry

The V-44B ships with a black Kydex sheath, offering a rigid, low-maintenance carry option with secure retention. As a fixed blade, there is no lock mechanism - the full construction relies on a solid, one-piece design. The sheath is set up for belt or strap carry depending on your setup.
