Blade

The 9.15" bowie blade is made from SK85 high-carbon steel, finished with a dark wash that helps resist fingerprinting and adds a worn, non-reflective look. SK85 is a simple high-carbon steel valued for its toughness and ability to take a keen edge, making it well-suited to a blade of this length and the 0.189" thickness. The bowie profile brings a clipped point and pronounced belly, giving the knife strong piercing capability along with good slicing performance.

Handle

The handle is natural canvas Micarta, a composite made from linen or canvas fabric layers saturated with resin and compressed under heat. It provides a stable, grippy surface that holds up well in wet or sweaty conditions without becoming slick. At 23.6oz, this is a substantial knife with real heft in hand.

Carry
