K329 Fixed Blade with Micarta Handles

The V44C is Work Tuff Gear's compact take on the historic Marine Raider bowie carried by the 2nd Raider Battalion in WWII. Scaled down into an everyday-carry format, it keeps the clip-point bowie lines and fighting-knife heritage while staying practical for camp chores and daily utility tasks.

Blade

The 4" bowie blade is ground from K329 steel with a satin finish at .157" thick. The clip-point profile carries a wide fuller inspired by the original V44's double fuller, giving the blade a lighter feel and that unmistakable Raider bowie look while keeping the tip controllable for detail work.

Handle

The handle is built from Micarta, a resin-impregnated linen or canvas material known for a secure grip that holds up even when wet. At 9.2oz, the knife has enough heft to handle bushcraft and camp tasks without feeling unwieldy.

Carry

The V44C ships with a carbon fiber Kydex sheath for a rigid, low-profile carry option. Kydex resists moisture and holds its shape over time, and the sheath is built to secure the blade with reliable retention for belt or other mounted carry setups.
