K329 Fixed Blade with Micarta Handles

The Voyageur Gen 2 by Work Tuff Gear draws inspiration from the historic voyageurs, who relied on durable and versatile knives during their expeditions across North America in the 18th and 19th centuries. This modern fixed blade is designed to honor that legacy with its robust build and reliable performance.

Blade

The knife features a 5.6" clip point blade made from Böhler K329 steel, known for its exceptional toughness and edge retention. With a .149" thickness and saber grind supplemented by a secondary convex edge, it delivers excellent slicing capabilities while maintaining the strength needed for demanding tasks. The 90-degree spine is ideal for scraping tinder or striking a ferro rod.

Handle

The contoured handle is crafted from natural canvas Micarta, providing comfort and control in various grips such as hammer, pinch, reverse, and chest lever. At 10 oz, the knife offers substantial heft for effective chopping while ensuring ease of handling during extended use.

Carry
