The WTG Wilson is a large kukri-style fixed blade from Work Tuff Gear, built for users who want serious chopping power in camp or on the trail. With a 10.7" blade and nearly 17" overall length, this is a heavy-duty tool for clearing brush, splitting wood, and other demanding outdoor tasks.
Blade
The 10.7" kukri blade is forged from K329 steel at .23" thick, finished with a hamon temper line that marks the transition between the hardened edge and softer spine. This differential hardening gives the edge strong wear resistance while keeping the spine tough enough to absorb heavy impacts. The forward-curved kukri profile adds momentum to each swing, making it effective for chopping tasks that a straight blade would struggle with.
Handle
The Black Gator Grip G-10 handle is a textured fiberglass laminate scale material that stays secure even when hands are wet or gloved. At 33oz, this knife carries substantial weight, which adds power to chopping strokes while remaining controllable in the kukri's curved handle shape.
Carry
As a fixed blade, the Wilson has no lock mechanism - the tang and handle form a single rigid unit. It ships with a black Kydex sheath, a rigid thermoplastic that offers reliable retention and resists wear better than leather, suited for belt or baldric-style carry given the knife's size.
Made in Taiwan.
