Blade

The 2.25 inch wharncliffe is 3D milled and hollow ground from CPM MagnaCut, heat treated and cryogenically tempered, then finished in a light stonewash that hides pocket wear. MagnaCut is the modern powder metallurgy steel that finally stopped making you choose, delivering the edge retention of the high-carbide steels, genuine stainless corrosion resistance, and the toughness to back both up. The wharncliffe's straight edge meets the spine in a gradual curve, giving surgical control for detail work, opening boxes, breaking down packaging, and every other cut a small knife actually gets asked to make.

Slipjoint Action

There is no lock here, and that is the appeal. The blade rides phosphor bronze washers on a hardened 416 stainless pivot and is held open by spring tension, opening and closing with the satisfying snap that has defined traditional folders for a century. A slipjoint also carries places a locking knife cannot, which makes this the knife that goes where your other knives stay home.

Handle

The titanium scales wear ABW's radial pattern, a machined finish that adds texture and visual depth while keeping the whole knife at 2.33 ounces. Titanium shrugs off corrosion and a lifetime of carry, and the milling gives your thumb something to find without shredding a pocket liner.

Carry

At 3.312 inches closed, it drops into a pocket clipless in the tradition of the classic gentleman's folder.
