The Clip Slip Short is sized for single blade folders up to about 4 inches closed, which is exactly why the maker's own fit list starts with most models of Jack Wolf Knives, the sub-4-inch premium slipjoints these were practically born to carry. Sod Buster patterns and similarly sized traditional knives ride just as well. The clip holds the slip at your pocket seam for a consistent draw, the veg-tanned leather burnishes into its own patina with carry, and the leather and stitching combinations, mahogany with tan, walnut with black or tan, and black with gray, let the slip match the knife it protects.
