Blade

The 2.25 inch modified wharncliffe is 3D milled and hollow ground from CPM MagnaCut, then heat treated and cryogenically tempered before its stonewash finish goes on. The modified profile keeps the wharncliffe's flat, precise cutting edge but eases a whisper of curve toward the tip, so it slices cleanly without the point feeling fragile. MagnaCut is the powder metallurgy steel that ended the old trade-off, holding an edge with the best of them while shrugging off rust and chipping, which is exactly what you want in a knife that lives in a pocket every day.

Slipjoint Action

Spring tension does the work here, no lock, just the crisp walk and talk of a properly built traditional folder. The blade rides phosphor bronze washers on a pivot and pivot screw machined from hardened 416 stainless, so the action stays smooth and the snap stays satisfying for the long haul.
