The Coffin Spear from Auxiliary Manufacturing is a compact fixed blade built for close, controlled work. Its small footprint and spear point geometry make it a solid choice as a neck knife or backup blade for those who want a purpose-built cutting tool without extra bulk.

Blade

The 2.625" blade is made from AEB-L steel with a darkwash finish. AEB-L is a stainless steel known for taking a very fine edge and holding excellent toughness, making it a favorite among custom makers for small utility and self-defense blades. The darkwash finish adds a mottled, low-glare look while helping to mask surface wear.

Handle

The handle combines black G-10, a fiberglass laminate valued for its durability and grip in wet conditions, with neon yellow GripX inserts. GripX is a textured, high-traction material that improves purchase without adding bulk. Together they create a secure, lightweight grip at just over 4oz total weight.

Carry

As a fixed blade, the Coffin Spear has no lock mechanism - the tang and handle are a single, solid unit. It ships with a black Kydex sheath, molded for a secure friction fit and drop-in retention, suited for neck carry or attachment to a belt setup.
