S35VN Fixed Blade with CamoCarbon Handles

The Hupercut Collab Sgian Dubh from Auxiliary Manufacturing takes a traditional Scottish boot knife pattern and rebuilds it with modern materials. This small fixed blade suits collectors and EDC carriers who want a compact, well-made backup knife with real craftsmanship behind it.

Blade

The 2.625" blade is made from S35VN steel with a Stonewash DLC finish. S35VN is a premium powder metallurgy steel that balances edge retention, toughness, and ease of sharpening, making it a favorite among custom makers. The DLC coating adds extra corrosion resistance and a dark, low-glare surface over the stonewash texture. At 0.155" thick, the blade carries enough stock to stay rigid without adding bulk.

Handle

The handle uses Watermelon CamoCarbon, a carbon fiber composite material with a layered, mottled coloration unique to each piece. Carbon fiber is prized for being lightweight yet extremely rigid. Combined with the 4.75" handle length, the knife balances well in hand despite its small size, and total weight comes in at just 4.27oz.

Carry

The knife ships with a black Kydex sheath, a rigid thermoplastic that holds its shape and provides secure, low-maintenance retention. The sheath is built for discreet boot or waistband carry, staying true to the Sgian Dubh's traditional role as a concealed companion blade.
