Blade

The 3" drop point blade is made from 14C28N steel with a Rose Gold PVD finish. 14C28N is a Swedish stainless steel developed by Sandvik that offers a good balance of edge retention, corrosion resistance, and ease of sharpening, making it a reliable choice for daily use. The PVD coating adds an extra layer of protection against wear while giving the blade a distinct look. At just .12" thick, the blade stays light without sacrificing control for detail work.

Handle

The handle is finished in green Micarta, a composite made from layers of linen or canvas fabric set in resin. Micarta is valued for its durability, grip texture, and resistance to moisture. With a 4" handle length and a total weight of just 3.7oz, this knife stays light and easy to carry all day.

Carry

The Karl Jr Deadhead ships with a molded Kydex sheath for secure, low-profile carry.
