14C28N Crossbar Lock with Micarta Handles

A compact Bowie-style folder designed for everyday carry and utility tasks. The Crossbar Coffin combines a traditional blade shape with modern lock technology, making it a versatile tool for work, self-defense, or general cutting needs.

Blade

The 2.77" Bowie blade uses 14C28N Swedish steel at 0.12" thick. 14C28N is a nitrogen-alloyed stainless steel with excellent edge retention, corrosion resistance, and ease of sharpening. The stonewash finish helps hide scratches and adds a rugged look. The Bowie profile offers a good balance of tip strength and slicing capability.

Handle

Green Micarta scales are bolted to stainless steel liners. Micarta is a composite material made from linen or canvas soaked in resin, creating a durable, waterproof handle that won't degrade over time. The ergonomic shape provides a comfortable grip for extended use.

Carry

The knife uses an Axis/Crossbar lock that is completely ambidextrous and allows one-handed opening with dual thumb studs. The pocket clip is reversible for right or left-hand carry, with a tip-up orientation.
