The Pocket Bowie XL is a compact fixed blade from Auxiliary Manufacturing, designed for everyday carry and utility tasks. It combines a traditional bowie profile with modern materials for a knife that's ready for hard use.

Blade

The 4" bowie blade uses AEB-L stainless steel with a darkwash finish. AEB-L is a Swedish stainless steel with 0.55% carbon and 14% chromium, known for its fine grain structure and ability to take a polished edge. The darkwash finish adds a rugged look while helping to hide scratches and wear.

Handle

The handle combines Grip X and G-10 scales. Grip X is a textured material designed for positive traction in wet or slippery conditions, while G-10 is a fiberglass laminate that won't absorb water or degrade over time. The combination provides excellent grip security and durability.

Carry

The knife ships with a black Kydex sheath that offers positive retention and multiple carry options. No lock mechanism - this is a fixed blade with a full tang design. The sheath is molded to hold the knife securely while allowing for quick deployment.
