The Runt XL from Auxiliary Manufacturing is a compact fixed blade suited for everyday carry as a backup or utility tool. Its small footprint and light weight make it easy to carry daily without adding bulk.

Blade

The 3" clip point blade is made from 14C28N steel with a black PVD finish. 14C28N is a Swedish stainless steel developed by Sandvik, known for a good balance of edge retention, corrosion resistance, and ease of sharpening. The clip point shape gives a fine, controllable tip that works well for detail cutting tasks. Blade stock runs .10" thick, keeping the knife nimble.

Handle

The handle uses Tiffany G-10, a fiberglass laminate material valued for its durability and grip in wet or dry conditions. It resists cracking and holds up well over time. At just 2.7oz total weight, this knife barely registers in a pocket or on a belt.

Carry

The Runt XL ships with a Kydex sheath for secure, low-profile carry. Kydex is a rigid thermoplastic that holds its shape and provides consistent retention without breaking in. The sheath can be set up for various carry positions depending on your preferred mounting hardware.
