The Tek-Lok is Blade-Tech's most widely used mount. It clamps onto belts up to 1.75 inches wide using a spring-loaded latch mechanism that locks in place without threading a belt through a loop. The tool-free design allows quick on-and-off attachment, and the adjustable hardware accommodates both horizontal and vertical mounting angles. Tek-Lok clips are a common upgrade on Kydex knife sheaths from brands like Bark River, ESEE, and Bradford, replacing stock belt loops with a more secure and versatile mounting option.
The Molle Lok is designed for attachment to PALS webbing on plate carriers, chest rigs, packs, and duty belts. It weaves through standard one-inch MOLLE channels and locks with a flathead screw, keeping the holster or sheath fixed under load. For fixed-blade knives carried on load-bearing gear, the Molle Lok provides a stable platform that doesn't shift during movement.
Both systems use glass-reinforced nylon construction and accept standard hole patterns found on most aftermarket Kydex holsters and sheaths. Replacement hardware and adapter kits are available for retrofitting existing setups.
