Procut Fixed Blade with Canvas Micarta Handle

The Candler Customs GL Layman is a compact fixed blade designed for everyday carry and utility tasks. The vintage natural canvas micarta handles give it a rugged, classic appearance while providing excellent grip in all conditions. At 7.25" overall length and 4.48oz, it's a lightweight but capable tool for outdoor use or as a backup knife.

Canvas Micarta is made with canvas fabric soaked in phenolic resin and compressed under heat and pressure. It offers a coarser texture than linen micarta with a more rugged appearance and slightly more aggressive grip. The weave pattern is visible and provides excellent traction, making it ideal for hard-use applications where durability and texture are priorities.

The 3" drop point blade uses Procut steel, which is designed for good edge retention and corrosion resistance. The blade thickness of 0.136" provides strength for prying and batoning tasks while maintaining reasonable weight.
