The Candler Customs LC Model is a compact fixed blade designed for everyday carry and utility tasks. At 7.25" overall length, it strikes a balance between portability and functionality. The drop point blade profile combines a strong tip for piercing with a generous belly for slicing, making it versatile for camp chores, bushcraft, or as a backup field knife.

Blade

The 3" drop point blade uses 8670 steel at 0.108" thick. 8670 is a spring steel known for its toughness and ability to return to shape after bending, making it ideal for knives that may see occasional prying or levering tasks. The steel holds an edge well and is relatively easy to sharpen in the field. The drop point shape keeps the tip strong while maintaining good slicing geometry.

Handle

The Crosscut Mocha Paper Micarta scales are paired with yellow liners. Paper Micarta is made from layers of paper soaked in resin and compressed under heat and pressure. It offers a smooth, warm grip that develops a beautiful patina with use. The yellow liners add a striking contrast to the mocha-colored Micarta while providing additional grip texture. At 3.88oz, the knife has good heft for its size without being cumbersome.

Carry

No lock mechanism - this is a fixed blade with a full tang design. The handle scales are secured with pins, allowing for easy disassembly if needed. The compact size makes it suitable for belt carry in a small sheath or as a neck knife.
