Nitro-V Linerlock with Polished Ultem Handles and a Machined Maze

The CIVIVI Elementum earned its reputation as one of the most recommended budget EDC folders on the market, and the C18062AM-2 gives that platform a genuine reason to sit in your hand instead of your pocket. Translucent polished yellow Ultem scales reveal a maze machined into the liner underneath, and CIVIVI dropped a ceramic ball inside it. The styling pulls from Bronze Age and Greek mythology cues, right down to the hammered look on the blade.

Blade

The 2.96" drop point runs a hollow grind in Nitro-V at 59 to 61 HRC. Nitro-V is a nitrogen-enriched stainless that lands in the sweet spot for daily carry, with corrosion resistance that shrugs off sweat and rain and an edge that comes back fast on a ceramic rod or strop. The satin finish carries a rock grind pattern across the flats, a machined texture that mimics forged bronze. It is cosmetic and does not affect strength or cutting geometry.

Handle

Polished yellow Ultem scales sit on gray stainless liners. Ultem is a high-performance thermoplastic with an amber tint, excellent stiffness for its weight, and a slick, warm feel that separates it from the G-10 and Micarta you see on most knives in this range. At 2.98oz and 0.5" across the handle, this one disappears in a pocket.

Maze

The presentation side is the draw. CIVIVI CNC machined a labyrinth into the handle beneath the clear scale and captured a ceramic ball inside the channel. Tilt the knife and the ball travels the maze, which turns an otherwise plain slab into a fidget puzzle you can actually see working. A spare ceramic ball ships in the box.

Lock

A stainless linerlock secures the blade, with a flipper tab and caged ceramic ball bearing pivot handling deployment. The action is fast and light, and the detent is tuned well enough that the blade snaps out with a lazy pull.

Carry

The stainless pocket clip is set for right hand tip-up carry, and there is a lanyard hole at the butt. Prefer the same knife with clear scales? The C18062AM-1 in polished Lexan shows the maze even more plainly.
