The Freyja is a handmade fixed blade from Darlington Edgecraft, built as a lightweight everyday carry or field companion for collectors who appreciate fine natural materials and hand-finished steel. Accent details include orange and red G-10 racing stripes with black Micarta liners set beneath the ironwood scales.
Blade
The 3.75" drop point blade is tapered and ground from Nitro-V steel with a hammered finish, at 0.093" thick. Nitro-V is a nitrogen-enhanced martensitic steel that offers excellent corrosion resistance alongside strong edge retention, making it well suited to a working blade that sees moisture and regular use. The convex grind adds strength behind the edge while keeping cutting performance smooth through material.
Handle
Desert Ironwood scales top black Micarta liners with orange and red G-10 racing stripe accents. Desert ironwood is a dense, naturally oiled hardwood prized for its rich grain patterns, and each handle will show unique coloring and figure. At 4.44oz, the knife carries light for its 8.25" overall length.
Carry
Includes a leather sheath sized for belt or pocket carry. As a fixed blade the tang runs solid through the handle, and the sheath provides secure friction retention for the blade.
Made in the USA.
