Darlington Edgecraft builds handmade fixed blade knives out of a woman-owned shop run by maker Carley Perkins. She came up as a welder before transitioning to bladesmithing, apprenticing under Andy Roy at Fiddleback Forge, and that training shows in everything she builds: clean grinds, solid heat treat, and handles that actually fit your hand.
Our selection runs deep on the Freyja, her signature compact fixed blade in A2 tool steel, a tough carbon chemistry that handles hard use and sharpens easily in the field, covered alongside every alternative in our knife steel guide. The handle work is where each Freyja becomes one of a kind: desert ironwood, yellow heart, bocote, tiger wood, flamed sapele, thuya burl, and wenge, dressed with G-10 pinstripes and racing stripes over contrasting micarta and G-10 liners, with pin details finishing every build. Each knife is photographed individually, so the wood figure you see is the one that arrives.
