The Velaris from Darlington Edgecraft is a compact fixed blade suited to everyday carry or detail work where a smaller, precise tool matters more than size. Its light weight and slim profile make it an easy knife to carry all day.

Blade

The 3" blade is made from Nitro-V, a stainless steel formulated for excellent corrosion resistance while still holding a fine edge. The hammered finish adds texture along the blade face and helps reduce drag when cutting. At 0.09375" thick, the blade stays light without sacrificing control for fine tasks.

Handle

The handle uses black matrix Micarta with blue and natural liners. Micarta is a composite made from linen or canvas layers set in resin, valued for its durability and secure grip even when wet. The liner accents add a distinctive layered look to the handle profile. Total weight comes in at just 3.42oz.

Carry

The Velaris ships with a leather sheath, offering a traditional look and a snug friction fit for belt carry. As a fixed blade - the knife is ready to draw and use as soon as it clears the sheath.
