The Freyja from Darlington Edgecraft is a handmade fixed blade built for collectors and users who want a knife that combines fine materials with serious field capability. Each one is finished with a convex grind and tapered tang for a balanced, refined feel in hand.
Blade
The 3.75" drop point blade is forged from A2 tool steel with a hammered finish and a tapered spine that reduces weight toward the tip. A2 is prized for its toughness and stability, holding a working edge well while resisting chipping under hard use. At .125" thick with a convex grind, the blade slices efficiently while retaining plenty of strength behind the edge.
Handle
The handle scales are flamed Sapele, a hardwood known for its rich grain pattern and durability, set off with blue and black G-10 pinstripes for contrast. Natural Micarta liners add strength between the wood and tang. Fully assembled, the knife weighs a light 4.51oz.
Carry
The Freyja ships with a leather sheath designed for secure belt carry. As a fixed blade, there is no lock to engage - the tapered full tang construction provides the strength and rigidity you need, with the sheath handling retention and carry.
Made in the USA.
