Nitro-V Fixed Blade with Micarta Handles

The Darlington Edgecraft Sugar is a compact fixed blade suited for everyday carry, food prep, or light utility tasks. Its small footprint makes it easy to carry daily while still offering a capable working edge.

Blade

The 3" blade is made from Nitro-V steel with a hammered finish. Nitro-V is a modern stainless steel that combines strong corrosion resistance with good edge retention and toughness, making it well suited to a slim working blade like this one that may see moisture or food contact. At 0.09375" thick, the blade stays nimble for detail work and precise cuts.

Handle

The handle uses blue canvas Micarta with white and black liners for visual contrast. Micarta is a resin-impregnated fabric composite, in this case a canvas layup, that offers a stable, grippy surface even when wet. At 3.25oz total, the knife carries light without feeling flimsy.

Carry

The Sugar ships with a leather sheath sized for its 3.5" handle and 3" blade, allowing for easy pocket, neck, or belt carry. As a fixed blade - the tang and blade are one solid piece, ready for immediate use once drawn from the sheath.
