A2 Fixed Blade with Desert Ironwood Handle

The Darlington Edgecraft Sugar is a compact fixed blade designed for everyday carry and utility tasks. The 3" hand-forged blade and Desert Ironwood handle make this a lightweight yet capable knife for outdoor use.

Blade

The 3" blade uses A2 tool steel at 0.094" thick. A2 offers a good balance of edge retention and toughness, with better corrosion resistance than O1 steel. The convex grind creates a thin edge for slicing while maintaining strength at the spine. The hand-forged finish gives the blade a distinctive look while keeping weight down to 3.25oz.

Handle

Desert Ironwood scales are pinned to the full tang with blue and white pins. Ironwood is a dense hardwood that provides excellent grip and durability. The white blue and black liners add visual contrast while reinforcing the handle structure.

Carry

The knife ships with a leather sheath designed for belt carry. The sheath holds the knife securely with positive retention. No lock mechanism - this is a fixed blade with a full tang, so the blade and handle are one continuous piece of steel.
